Marina Vianello

Director of Operations

Marina Vianello, a dance artist based in New York City, grew up in Kansas City, MO. She graduated magna cum laude with a BFA in Dance and a minor in Global Systems from George Mason University. Professional performance credits include the Lyric Opera of Kansas City, Yoo & Dancers, JKing Dance Company, and As Arts NY Dance. She currently dances with Mari Meade Dance Collective, Arsenal Movement Dance Project, Terre Dance Collective, and Ballaro Dance and her choreography has been presented at the Tada Theatre and Arts on Site in Manhattan. In addition to dancing and choreographing, she serves as the Bookings Director for Pony Box Dance Theatre and has served on the Content team at Peloton Studios New York. She’s fluent in French and recently danced internationally at the Festival of Castles in Dordogne, France.

Gabrielle DiNizo

Development and Marketing Director

Gabrielle DiNizo (Dayton, OH) is a performer and arts administrator based in NYC. She graduated summa cum laude from Fordham University/The Ailey School with a BFA in Dance and English. Professional dance credits include Parsons Dance, Jon Lehrer Dance Company, Xiang Xu Dance, and Forza Dance Company. Gabby works as the Development Director for Forza Dance. She brings her background as an artist and her passion for nonprofit development and design to her role here at Pony Box.

Sumire Ishige

Production Director

Sumire (Sue) Ishige was raised in Greensboro, North Carolina. She graduated from the high school program at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, and graduated magna cum laude from Ailey/Fordham University. She has performed and toured with Boston Dance Theater, Parsons Dance Company, BARKIN/SELISSEN PROJECT, J Chen Project, McKoy Dance Project, and WHITE WAVE. Sumire was the rehearsal director for Pony Box Dance Theatre from 2021-2024 before transitioning into her role as Production Director.

Lindsay Jorgensen

Rehearsal Director

Lindsay Jorgensen is a NYC-based performing artist, choreographer, and teacher from Lawrenceville, New Jersey. She has performed with The Metropolitan Opera Ballet, Buglisi Dance Theatre, Ballet Nepantla, VALLETO, American Repertory Ballet, and Axelrod Contemporary Ballet Theater. She graduated summa cum laude from the Ailey/Fordham B.F.A. Dance Program, where she holds degrees in Dance and English. She also was awarded departmental honors in Dance from the university. Lindsay has taught for Montclair State University, Steps Youth Program, and American Repertory Ballet’s Trainee Program. She also holds a certificate in Creative Writing from the University of Pennsylvania. Theatre credits (Axelrod PAC): Sunday in the Park with George (Ensemble/Dance Captain), Grease (Cha Cha), Evita (Associate Choreographer), and The Prom (Swing/Asst Director and Choreographer).

Carl Ponce Cubero

Director of Education & Community Engagement

Carl Ponce Cubero (they/siya) is a first generation Filipinx American movement artist/creative, originally from California’s Central Valley, currently based out of New York City. Graduating from University of California, Irvine in 2017, he received his BFA in Dance Performance with a minor in Anthropology. While at university, he had the amazing honor and privilege of dancing under the late Donald McKayle. He has performed domestically and internationally with Ailey II from 2018-2020 and was a guest artist with Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater in the Spring of 2022. Carl Ponce has had the opportunity to dance works by Donald McKayle, Alvin Ailey, Aszure Barton, Lar Lubovitch, Andrea Miller, Robert Battle, Rena Butler, and David Parsons
